The Easter holidays brought more equestrian success for our students and we couldn't be prouder of them!

George has been enjoying the expertise of Old Amplefordian and British Eventing Team’s High Performance Coach Christopher Bartle over the Easter holiday. George, who joined the school in September, was successful in his application for the Masterclass lessons with Christopher who is delighted to be able to offer these opportunities to the Equestrian Team at Ampleforth College.

The pictures show George taking instruction from Christopher at the Yorkshire Riding Centre, and subsequently in action at Northallerton ODE – winning his section of the NSEA ODE Championship Qualifier.

Also successful over the Easter weekend, was Maggie, who joins the school this term. Maggie finished 6th in her first One Day Event at Sapey, Worchestershire, followed by finishing 3rd in her second event at Broadway, Gloucestershire and qualifying for the Schools Equestrian Games Championships in October. Well done to Maggie, we are looking forward to her representing Ampleforth College in the future.
