    We are very pleased to announce our A level and AS results. They are very much as expected given the overall profile of the cohort. The percentage of A grades is 43% with 33% of those gaining an A grade also qualifying for an A* grade. The percentage of A*-B grades is 72%.

    We are pleased to report that we have received a Gold Award from the Good Schools Guide as the highest performing English independent school for boys taking French.A great accolade and a testament to the hard work of our pupils and the excellent standard of teaching they receive.

    On 2nd July 2015, Jasper Mohan (H) cycled 252 miles on a stationary machine in the Main Hall at Ampleforth to support through Face-Faw the Bruno Bursary Fund. He cycled the distance from the Tower of London to the Eiffel Tower in 9 hours 33 minutes [573 minutes] between 6.35am and 4.08pm.

    We were thrilled to receive news that the History department have been awarded a Good Schools Guide award for ‘Best Performance by Boys taking History at an English Independent School’ at A level.

    SHAC-along 2015 on 8th March 2015 supported Face-Faw, raising £6,342.  Sponsorship supported Mary's Meals - in particular the 859 children at Chigwaja Primary School in Malawi. Some sponsorship supported San Lorenzo School in Chile, and three local hospices.
