Coming together in faith

Our first Mass of the new academic year brought the Ampleforth community together in the Abbey, providing a special opportunity to mark the beginning of a new chapter. With pupils and staff gathered in prayer, the service set a thoughtful tone for the year ahead, reflecting the Benedictine values that underpin life at Ampleforth. For new and returning pupils alike, it was a chance to pause, reflect and begin the year together as one community, with faith at the heart of school life.
