Colours, Drums and House Pride.
You could hear it ricocheting off the valley walls long before you saw it. Last Sunday marked the school year's first competitive inter-house fixture, and the pupils brought everything with them — banners, drumbeats and a real sense of pride in their colours.
The competition was fierce right to the finish, but it was St Dunstan's & St Oswald's and St Aidan's who came out on top.
Huge congratulations to everyone who took part — house spirit doesn't come much stronger (or louder) than this.
