House Singing
This year’s House Singing competition was a wonderful celebration of the talent, creativity and house spirit that runs through the College, with hours of rehearsal and plenty of nerve on display from every house that took part.
In the House Song, congratulations go to St Margaret’s, who took first place with a brilliantly choreographed performance of Backstreet Boys’ ‘I Want It That Way’. It was faultless from start to finish, with every word and every move in time and no shortage of energy and gusto. Particular credit goes to Mirabelle, Ursula and Sophia, who created the choreography. St John’s came a close second in the House Song.
St John’s had a strong showing across the competition. They came second place in the House Song, Charlie (Year 11) but capped off the day by winning the solo category with a standout performance.
In the open class, congratulations to St Hugh’s Pipers, who took the winning spot.
Well done to all of our performers, and thank you to everyone who rehearsed, supported and cheered them on.
