Assistant Examinations Supervisor

An Assistant Examinations Supervisors is required to join our team to assist in the organisation and running of public and internal examinations. The role is key in maintaining the security and integrity of the examination system while ensuring all candidates have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. It will involve administrative tasks ahead of each examination series and during examination sessions responsibility for the organisation of rooms, instructing invigilators and distributing/dispatching question papers. The role may also include invigilating and facilitating access arrangements such as reading or scribing for a student.

The ideal candidate will be confident, calm under pressure, flexible and provide a reassuring presence to students. Experience of working in a school environment and examinations is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Hours will be extensive when exams are taking place (January, April, May and June). You will work 13 hours per week for 28 weeks of the year and 20 hours a week for 10 weeks of the year, covering May and June.
