Sports Centre Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Sports Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of St Alban’s Sports Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant, high-quality facility, delivering exceptional experiences for both the College and the general public.

As Sports Centre Manager, working alongside the Assistant Manager and two Duty Managers, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, operational management, and development of the Centre.

The role includes driving growth in revenue through memberships and use of sports facilities. You will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of sports programmes, coaching, and events to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

You will lead and support all staff through team development and training, and take operational responsibility for safeguarding as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Safeguarding qualifications are desirable at appointment, with the expectation that they will be obtained during the probation period.

Experience within sports centre management, and a strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, along with a genuine passion for providing safe, high-quality sports will make you successful in this role.
