Sixth Form Taster Lessons & Stay - Friday 6 & Saturday 7 March 2026

Thinking about joining us for Sixth Form? Try lessons in subjects you’re considering studying, meet future classmates and teachers, and get a taste of life at Ampleforth including an optional overnight stay in one of our Boarding Houses.
On Saturday 7 March, students interested in joining our Sixth Form in September 2026 are invited to a morning of taster lessons, a chance to experience subjects they are considering studying to help finalise choices. Parents are welcome to join in too!
Students may also choose to stay with us the night before, on Friday 6 March, in one of our boarding Houses - an opportunity to meet future peers and get a feel for life at Ampleforth outside of the classroom. They will have supper with current students and other new joiners and enjoy a social event together.
If your child would like to take part in the taster lessons and / or the overnight stay, please complete the booking form below. The full schedule can be found below the form.
The schedule for Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March is as follows. Please note that times are subject to change.
