Security Officer
Located in a beautiful Yorkshire valley, Ampleforth College is the world’s foremost Catholic boarding school, welcoming girls and boys of all faiths aged 11-18. We offer a holistic education and nurture each student’s unique talents.
A position for a proactive and motivated Security Officer has become available in our Transport, Logistics and Security Department. The primary responsibility of the role will be in providing support to safeguard the security, safety and wellbeing of everyone on the Ampleforth College and estate. They will also be responsible for the security of equipment, buildings and the estate.
Applicants should possess and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, can work constructively as part of a team, be able to relate well to both children and adults, and have previous minibus driving experience.
A SIA qualification is preferred. The role offers various hours between 4:30pm and 8:00am.
