These facilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- A library furnished with famous 'mouseman' fittings providing a quiet and reflective space for students to focus on individual study
- A newly re-furbished Performing Arts Centre with retractable seating, a sprung floor and mirrored walls
- The St Alban's Sports Centre providing city standard gym and swim facilities to both students and the general public, including squash and tennis court, a sports hall and an exercise studio
- A naturally lit art studio referred to as the Sunley Centre providing exhibition space as well as art classrooms, computer suites and DT workshops
- Modern science labs fitted with gas taps and sinks on each desk as well as fume hoods in all Chemistry labs
- A fully equipped cookery school for students to learn life skills and home economics
- A High Performance Suite containing six half racks, solid oak lifting platforms, 600kg of weights and a range of other specialised exercise equipment
- Located in 2,000 acres of Yorkshire countryside Ampleforth College's grounds contain Tennis courts, one full sized astro-turf hockey pitch, practice asto-turf areas, rugby pitches, cricket pitches with a cricket pavilion and four bowling nets
- A fully equipped firing range for use of the CCF
- A well-equipped Infirmary with two twin rooms, a single room, a 7 bay boy’s ward, a 7 bay girl’s ward, a consulting room, treatment room and a quiet/counselling room
- An iPad scheme rolled out throughout the school providing a focus for collaboration and communication using Keynote or Explain Everything and a tool for synthesising knowledge through apps such as Poplet
