13+ Basil Hume Scholarship & Assessment Day - 27 & 28 November 2025

Thursday 27 & Friday 28 November 2025

Suitable for students applying for Year 9 entry in September 2026 who have not previously sat the Ampleforth Entrance Assessment in either Year 6 or Year 7. This will include online assessments in Maths, English and Non-Verbal Reasoning and an interview with our Registrar. Assessments will take place in the morning followed by an afternoon of fun co-curricular activities with their future peers in the afternoon. All students are invited to take part in an overnight boarding taster.

Students applying for the 13+ Basil Hume Scholarships are also invited to join us to sit a series of assessments and an interview relevant to the award for which they are applying on Thursday 27 & Friday 28 November 2025.

Applications for 13+ Academic, Art, Dance, Drama, DT, Music & Sport Scholarships should be submitted by 20 November at the very latest. Digital brochures, application forms and details of how to apply can be found here on our website.
