Assessment Day for Year 9 Entry 26 - 27 & 28 November 2025

Thursday 27 & Friday 28 November 2025

Students applying for Year 9 September 2026 who have not previously completed our entry assessments in Year 6 or Year 7 are invited to join us for an Assessment Day on Thursday 27 November. This includes online assessments in Maths, English and Non-Verbal Reasoning, a short written paper, and an interview. Students will complete the entry assessments and interviews in the morning and take part in some co-curricular activities in the afternoon with their future peers. All students are invited to take part in the taster boarding night.

For those considering applying for a 13+ Basil Hume Scholarship into Year 9 2026, scholarship assessments take place over Thursday 27 & Friday 28 November. Applications should be submitted by 20 November for 13+ Art, Academic, Dance, Drama, DT, Music and Sport Scholarships. Digital brochures, application forms and details of how to apply can be found here on our website.
