Assessment Day for Year 9 Entry 2026/2027- Saturday 17 January
Children currently in Year 6 or Year 7, who are considering joining us in Year 9 in September 2026 or 2027, are invited to take our entrance assessment on Saturday 17 January, 2026. This is an opportunity to find out more about life at Ampleforth, meet future school friends and their families, and secure a place at the College.
The day involves an assessment in English, Maths, and Non-Verbal Reasoning (for which no special preparation is required), an interview with our Registrar, and taking part in taster lessons and activities. Parents are invited to meet members of staff, learn more about school life, and join us for lunch.
